The First Segment of Nightblooms’ Apocalypse Trilogy is Out Today

Night Blooms in the Apocalypse showcases what Sam Logan does better than anyone: the juxtaposition of thoughtful, conflict-laden lyrics pinned against a backdrop of gorgeous, immersive, and romantic instrumentation. If you find yourself laying awake at night thinking about the impending climate crisis or how we’ve moved beyond our Pax Humana (I just made this up)*, you’ll find lots to relate to here. Be warned, the songs are pure ear-worms - you’ll often be caught singing your anxieties out loud after diving in.

Night Blooms in the Apocalypse is a clear introduction to what Logan hopes to accomplish with Nightblooms and sets the foundation for a series of two additional EPs built respectively around the themes of love and the natural world. The “Apocalypse Trilogy” will be collected on Nightblooms’ debut LP which is expected in the summer of 2024 on Sleepy Cat Records.

*I just looked up Pax Humana and it’s apparently the title of a sci-fi trilogy by Endi Webb, so that’s neat. What is originality anyway?
